HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) _ Jimmie Miles threw three touchdown passes and ran for another as Richmond came back from a 14-point deficit to defeat previously unbeaten Hofstra, 31-21 Saturday. Miles went 13-for-24 for 199 yards with no interceptions as the Spiders (4-3) outscored the Flying Dutchmen (6-1) 21-0 in the second half. The senior quarterback also rushed for 109 yards on 27 carries, and threw two TDs to Muneer Moore. Giovanni Carmazzi rushed for three touchdowns and completed 17-of-25 passes for 168 yards with an interception. Trailing 21-7 at the half, Richmond scored on Miles' 21-yard pass to Dwaune Jones at 7:14 of the third quarter. Just 11 seconds into the fourth period, Miles hit Moore on an 11-yard scoring play to tie the score 21-21. Doug Kirchner added a 34-yard field goal at 7:41 to give the Spiders the lead for good. Miles completed the comeback on a 1-yard run with 1:13 left to cap a nine-play, 77-yard drive.
