IOWA CITY, Iowa (Ticker) -- Antwaan Randle El threw four touchdown passes as Indiana never trailed in a 38-31 Big Ten Conference victory over Iowa. Randle El gave the Hoosiers a 7-0 lead with 2:25 remaining in the first quarter when he found Jerry Dorsey with a 24-yard scoring strike. He hit Craig Osika from four yards out midway through the second period to build a 17-0 cushion. Dorsey hauled in Randle El's final TD toss, a 28-yarder that made it 38-21 with 27 seconds left in the third quarter. Dorsey finished with 104 yards on four catches for Indiana (4-4, 3-2 Big Ten), which has won three of its last four games. Randle El, a darkhorse Heisman Trophy candidate, has accounted for 24 touchdowns this season -- 12 rushing and 12 passing. Iowa's Scott Mullen had a big day, completing 36-of-60 passes for 426 yards. Mullen also rushed for 47 yards and a pair of scores but threw two interceptions. Kevin Kasper caught 12 passes for 120 yards for the Hawkeyes (1-6, 0-4), who have lost four in a row overall and fell to 35-24-4 all-time against Indiana. Indiana's Ladell Betts had 67 yards on 19 carries, including TD runs of 29 and three yards. Mullen's second TD run pulled Iowa within 38-28 with 10:35 to play, but the Hawkeyes were held to a field goal the rest of the way.
