JACKSON, Miss. (AP) _ Destry Wright ran for two touchdowns and Jackson State's defense allowed just 75 yards of total offense in a 41-0 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday.

Jackson State (6-2, 3-0 Southwestern Athletic Conference), which won its fifth straight game against the Golden Lions since the series resumed in 1995, yielded just one completed pass in the game.

Arkansas Pine-Bluff (3-5, 0-3), which hasn't beaten the Tigers since 1969, could get nothing going offensively as quarterbacks Kevin Williams and Darryl Shelton combined to throw for 12 yards and two interceptions on 1-of-15 passing.

Wright got the Tigers rolling with his 1-yard touchdown run with 34 seconds left in the first quarter.

Jackson State extended its lead to 16-0 at the half after Brian Reynolds added a 41-yard field goal and T.C. Taylor threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Kendrick Travis in the second quarter.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff managed only 39 total yards in the first half. The Golden Lions had three turnovers and committed 12 penalties in the game.

Wright's 5-yard touchdown run in the third quarter gave Jackson State a 28-0 lead with 5:41 remaining.

The Tigers rushed for 246 yards and finished with 417 yards of total offense.

Sylvester Morris caught five passes for 85 yards and scored the final TD on a 79-yard run with 11:58 remaining.
