STONY BROOK, N.Y. (AP) _ Al Cantera threw two touchdown passes to Lucas Miskanen as Stony Brook defeated Central Connecticut State 27-14 in Northeast Conference play Saturday. Ralph Menendez rushed 27 times for 191 yards, including a 54-yard score for the Seawolves (3-3, 3-2). Cantera hit Miskanen with a four-yard TD pass at 4:03 of the first quarter to open the scoring. Brian Stanley's 3-yard run with 27 seconds left in the period made it 14-0. Menendez's score at 12:03 of the second and Cantera's 10-yard TD pass to Miskanen with 19 seconds left in the half helped Stony Brook build a 27-0 lead. Darryl Taylor of the Blue Devils (2-6, 2-4) returned the following kickoff 80 yards for a score to cut it to 27-7 with seven seconds left in the half. Keith Toolan's 1-yard run at 4:28 of the fourth quarter capped the scoring.
