COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ Jason Martin kicked three field goals, including the winning 25-yarder in double overtime Saturday, as Eastern Kentucky edged Tennessee Tech 23-20. Martin's first field goal came with 5:39 to go in the game and put Eastern Kentucky (7-3, 4-2 Ohio Valley Conference) ahead 17-10. But Tennessee Tech (5-4, 4-3) sent the game into overtime at 17-17 after an 8-play, 74-yard drive capped by Jerome Tillman's 1-yard touchdown run. Martin kicked a 24-yard field goal in the first overtime for a 20-17 lead, but David Collett hit a 38-yarder to tie it up. In the second OT, Tennessee Tech's Jerome Tillman rushed 6 yards to the Eastern Kentucky 13 but a holding penalty brought it back to the 23. After two incomplete passes by Michael Peeples, Collett tried a 40-yard field goal but missed. Eastern Kentucky ran five plays before Martin made the winning kick on third down. Last year, the teams made it to triple overtime before Tennessee Tech defeated the Colonels 31-29.
