GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) _ North Carolina A&T clinched the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference regular season title with a 30-15 upset of Florida A&M on Saturday. The Aggies (9-1, 7-0) forced five turnovers and outgained one of the top offenses in Division I-AA 403 yards to 372 yards. Maurice Smith rushed for 118 yards, including a 46-yard scoring run late in the third quarter that boosted the Aggies' lead to 27-7. A&M, which came into the game ranked eighth in some Division I-AA polls, was led by Cainon Lamb, who had eight receptions for 98 yards. JaJuan Seider completed 17 of 35 passes for 181 yards, including a 9-yard scoring pass to Demetr Bendross that gave the Rattlers a 7-0 lead with 10:08 left in the first quarter. But Jason Battle hit Eric Framer on a 7-yard pass less than two minutes later to tie the score, and A&T took the lead for good on a 30-yard-field goal by Darren Dawkins, who later added field goals of 29 and 35 yards. Battle completed 10 of 18 passes for 162 yards, with one interception. Reserve quarterback Tim Funderburke, had only two pass attempts for A&T, but one was to Darius Helton for a 57-yard touchdown with 9:44 left in the first half. FAMU added its second touchdown with 2:11 left in the game on a 21-yard pass from Quinton Gray to Robert Walton.
