FAIRFIELD, Conn. (AP) _ Jim Lopusznick threw for four touchdowns Saturday as Fairfield romped to a 42-0 victory over La Salle.

Lopusznick, who has now thrown 79 touchdowns in his 40 games at Fairfield, finished 10 of 25, good for 215 yards. He was intercepted twice.

The Stags (8-2) also got two rushing touchdowns from Matt Costanzo, who finished with 123 yards on 27 carries. His touchdowns, the first two scored by the Stags, came on runs of one and four yards.

Fairfield led 21-0 after the first quarter and 28-0 at the half. Two of Lopusznick's touchdown tosses went to Everett Minger and the others went to Steven Hadley and Adam Ferreri.

Jeremy Crimmel paced La Salle (4-5) with 59 yards on 17 carries.
