TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) _ Antwon McCray scored on runs of 1 and 44 yards Saturday as Toledo defeated Northern Illinois 44-14 in the Mid-American Conference.

Tavares Bolden threw 10 yards to Mel Long for a touchdown and ran 18 yards for a score for the Rockets (5-5 overall, 4-3 Mid-American Conference). Keith Travis returned an interception 45 yards for a touchdown and Todd France kicked field goals of 27, 42 and 49 yards.

Chris Finlen threw touchdown passes of 7 yards to Justin McCareins and 10 yards to Darrell Hill for the Huskies (4-6, 4-3).

Toledo's Chester Taylor ran for 108 yards in 17 carries and Bolden was 16-for-31 for 149 yards. The Rockets outgained the Huskies 471 yards to 284.

William Andrews gained 103 yards in 17 attempts and Finlen was 17-for-29 for 135 yards with one interception for Northern Illinois.
