STONY BROOK, N.Y. (AP) _ Ralph Menendez scored two touchdowns in the second half, an 11-yard reception and a 4-yard run, and Stony Brook beat St. Francis, Pa. 24-6 Saturday. The Red Flash (2-9, 1-6 Northeast Conference) closed within 7-6 on a 10-yard pass from Ed Moran to Wes Clemmons with 4:21 left in the first half and it was all Stony Brook (4-4, 4-2) from there. James Kamdziolka kicked a 28-yard field goal with 49 seconds left in the half to make it 10-6. Menendez caught the scoring pass from Brian Stanley with 6:08 left in the third quarter and then ran it in with 4:09 to play for the final margin. Menendez finished 95 yards rushing on 19 carries and caught two passes for 26 yards. Stanley finished 12-of-16 for 129 yards.
