 ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) _ Robert Esche and Patrick DesRochers combined to make 33 saves as the Phoenix Coyotes beat the Anaheim Mighty Ducks 2-0 in an exhibition game Monday night. Esche made 15 saves in the first 32:23, and DesRochers stopped the final 18 shots. Teppo Numminen and Mika Alatalo scored for the Coyotes (2-1), who successfully killed 11 Anaheim power plays. Numminen opened the scoring with 1:44 left in the first period off a cross-ice pass from Jeremy Roenick. Alatalo scored at 6:28 of the third, tipping Roenick's pass past goalie Jean-Sebastien Giguere. The Ducks, 4-0 losers on Sunday night at Los Angeles, have been outscored 8-1 in three exhibition losses.
