The Blues, who finished with the best regular-season record in the NHL,
begin playoff action Wednesday at home against San Jose (7:30 p.m. ET,
ESPN2).
Demitra has been out since March 24. He was diagnosed with a concussion
after being forced to leave a game at Tampa Bay after the Lightning's Brian
Holzinger drove him face-first into the boards in pursuit of a loose
puck. Demitra had to be hospitalized after the hit, which resulted in Holzinger's ejection from the game.
In 71 games this season, Demitra has recorded 28 goals and 47
assists for 75 points.
