SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) -- Radek Dvorak broke out of a scoring slump with some help from Pavel Bure.

Dvorak had two goals and an assist in the second period as the Florida Panthers beat the Buffalo Sabres 3-1 on Saturday night to extend their winning streak to three games.

	Pavel Bure was back on the ice for the Panthers Saturday, and the team responded with a victory.

"Three weeks ago, Pavel told me that the goals would come," said Dvorak, who scored his second and third goals of the season. "He knows how to score goals, so I listen to him."

Bure, who added a shorthanded goal of his own, returned to the ice for the Panthers after missing three games because of a broken finger. The Panthers are 10-5-4 with Bure in the lineup dating to last season and 5-2-2 with him this season.

"It's always fun to play because I hate to just hang around the gym and ride a bike," Bure said. "It's not what I choose in my life. I choose to play hockey."

Bure knew Dvorak, who had 19 goals last season, eventually would bust out.

"He's playing great," Bure said. "I told him to keep doing what you're doing and that the goals will come."

After a scoreless first period, Dvorak scored 58 seconds into the second period after taking a pass -- just underneath a diving Alexei Zhitnik -- from Ryan Johnson on a three-on-two break.

"It was a nice pass by Johnson because the defenseman was down," Dvorak said. "I don't know where it the puck went in. All I know is that I saw it in the back of the net."

It didn't take long for Dvorak to strike again. Johnson took a loose puck at center ice and fed it to Dvorak just outside the blue line. Dvorak skated in all alone and slipped a backhand shot over Roloson's glove. It was Johnson's first career multiple-point game.

"I knew he was there because I could hear him screaming at the top of his lungs," said Johnson, who had his first career multiple-point game. "Then it was a great play by him to score."

With Buffalo on a power play, Bure took a pass from Dvorak near center ice and beat Roloson through the legs on a breakaway.

The goal gave Florida its first shorthanded goal of the season and gave Dvorak three points in a game for the fourth time in his career. Buffalo finished the game 0-for-5 on the power play and is 8-for-77 overall.

Curtis Brown's goal with 3:39 remaining spoiled Trevor Kidd's chance for his first shutout of the season. Kidd made 36 saves.

The Panthers are 7-1-1 at home, while the Sabres dropped to 2-7-1 on the road.
