  It's all about the finish

The BellSouth Classic is really the first event where there could be cold weather. This time of year in Atlanta, 50-degree days are possible. Obviously, you want to keep warm, but you have to wear clothing you can swing in.

Because you may be wearing more clothing, you have to work harder to keep your swing slowed down with good rhythm. Generally, when you wear more clothes, your swing will shorten up. When it shortens up, the swing gets quicker. So you need to make sure you keep some rhythm and length in your swing.

Then again, when the weather is cold, the ball won't travel as far. So you have to be careful not to try and hit the ball too hard. You may have to hit one more club than normal -- say, going from a nine-iron to an eight-iron. And then just play within yourself.
