The skinny:
A long, strategic par 5, which is nearly impossible to reach in two. The drive should be played toward the right bunker. The safe second shot is a mid or long iron, hit to the center of the fairway about 130 yards away. A longer shot risks the dangers of the two bunkers in that area. The shot to the green must be very accurate because the green is small, well-bunkered and very steep.
Andy North says:
This hole is really well bunkered. It usually plays into the wind, so you can't get there in two. It features a really small green that slopes quite a bit from back to front. If you put your drive in the rough, you'll be facing a longer third shot to the small green. If you put your second shot in the rough, it will be tough to hold the green. It is really hard to get it close.
